Please ensure that you have met the eligibility criteria for the required service and have prepared duly complete application form with all mandatory documents.
Please note that Fee once credited into Consulate Account will not be reimbursed. Applicants are requested to check their eligibility and correct amount of fee for the desired service. List of services and fee including ICWF is given at point e.
Partial payment of fee will not be entertained.

c. While making fee payment:

Please ensure that the Remarks/Comments column at the time of online transfer must be filled with following following:

d. After payment of fee by online banking

Print two copies of payment summary/details duly indicating the following:
1. Transaction number
2. Amount
3. Transfer date
4. Remarks/comments containing Applicants Name, Service Category, Application Reference Number/File Number, Passport number

Please write the applicant name and file number on back side of the Payment summary.
Both the copies need to be self-attested by the applicant ( by either of parents in case of Minor applicants) and submitted along with the application.

INTRODUCTION OF NEW VISA

Intern Visa

Applicants intending to pursue Internship in Indian Companies, Educational Institutions & NGO.

Period of Visa will be actual duration of Internship program or 1 year whichever is less.

Applicant applying should not have a gap of more than 1 year between completion of his graduation/ post-graduation and the commencement of the internship.

In case of Internship in a company, the applicant being sponsored for internship should draw a minimum remuneration of Rs. 7.80 lakh per annum. There will be no minimum salary limit in case of Internship in educational Institutions and NGOs.

Earnings from Internship of the applicant with Indian Companies/ Educational Institutions/ NGOs will be subject to Indian Income Tax Regulations.

Undertaking should be obtained from the company / organization concerned that they will insure departure of the foreigner on completion of Internship.

Please note that in certain cases, the matter may have to be referred for approval from the competent authorities in India and therefore, there can be delay.

Refund of Visa Fees

Policy for refund of Regular Paper visa fee

Only the payment of fee paid in excess or multiple times, against a regular paper visa application can be refunded on the receiving request for the same from the applicant.

Those who seek refund may make the request through an email addressed to visa.milan@mea.gov.in clearly mentioning the application reference number, amount paid, reason for seeking refund, attaching a copy of the proof of payment. The communication for refund request should also contain the details of bank account into which the refund is to be remitted.

No refund claim will be entertained after 3 months of such payment.

However under no circumstance, the actual fee once paid against the application will be refunded after submission of visa application and processing at the Consulate General of India, Milan.
