A Taste of India: Mango Festival 2026

On 16 June 2026, the Consulate was filled with the irresistible aroma of the “King of Fruits” as it hosted a vibrant Mango Festival, celebrating the rich flavors, diversity, &heritage of Indian mangoes in Milan.
Consul & Commercial Representative Mr. Atul Chauhan highlighted the unique qualities that make Indian mangoes world renowned, including their rich aroma, exceptional sweetness,& distinctive regional characteristics across different varieties.
Guests, including members of business chambers, leading fruit importers, distributors, and food journalists, enjoyed tasting fresh slices of iconic Indian mango varieties such as Alphonso, Kesar, and Badami, along with an array of delicious mango based delicacies. They also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with a wide range of other Indian mango varieties, showcasing the remarkable diversity of India’s mango heritage.
