Consul General Mr. Lavanya Kumar, officials of the Indian Consulate, and members of the Indian community paid floral tributes to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in San Donato, Milan.
Mr. Massimiliano Mistretta, Councillor for Public Works and Activities, and Mr. Roberto Gambetti, President of the Municipal Council of San Donato, along with representatives of the local police and Carabinieri, joined the Indian community in paying their respects to Mahatma Gandhi. On the occasion, members of the Indian community sang a few songs commemorating the life and teachings of Gandhi Ji.
