Updated Advisory on Tourist Visas
In pursuance of instructions from Ministry of Home Affairs, the Consulate General ofIndia in Milan is pleased to announce that:
- E-Tourist visas under the three options (one month, one year and five year) which remained suspended since March 2020, due to Covid-19 pandemic is now restored for Italian nationals.
- Applications for fresh tourist visa can be made as per the following procedures:
- E-visa: Eligible foreign nationals can apply for e-tourist visa at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html. (Applicants may please note that the Consulate does not process e-visas, and any enquiries in this regard will need to be made directly on the e-visa portal).
- Regular (Paper) Tourist visa: Application for regular (paper) tourist visa from the Consulate can be submitted by following link: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/index.html.
- Applicants are also advised to go through the guidelines for international travel to India available at
https://www.mea.gov.in/guidelines-for-international-arrivals.htm
